Cloud Library

Hola, "nerdmigos"!

Not long ago, I was talking to you about essential things you, as an international student recently arrived in Vancouver, should do to better accommodate yourself. I know there’s a lot more tips I can give you guys, so let’s go on another adventure!

Being a student you obviously need a lot of books, right? But if you’re not blessed with wealth (like I’m not), it’s impossible to buy everything you need to succeed in the academic world. This is why I love libraries and you should love them too! Everything you need to grow your knowledge for free!

And now you can take the library with you, on your laptop, tablet or smartphone. One way to do that is to get Cloud Library by Bibliotheca, which is an electronic library that you can access anywhere, anytime! It also keeps all your books in-sync so you can pick up where you left independent of the device you’re using. And it’s very simple to be part of it.

First, you go to one of the participant libraries and make a library card. Check which library is closest to you here.

Then, all you have to do is download the app and enjoy thousands of e-books for free.

In the Metro Vancouver area, there are three libraries affiliated with the program: Burnaby, Coquitlam, and North Vancouver. So far, you can find affiliated libraries in 8 countries but the program keeps growing and they’ll keep you posted.

Don’t waste another cent on books that you can read for free!

I hope this information was useful to you. And if you have any tips of free stuff for students, don't forget to leave a comment.

Thanks for reading and sharing!

Cheers!
